Darius Labanauskas was already a big name in the BDO circuit, but he didn’t expect a year like this on the PDC circuit. The Lithuanian took victory after victory on the Scandinavian Tour and placed himself as the first Lithuanian darts player ever on the PDC World Championship.

Asian darts is on the rise. A few years ago, the players from the eastern continent only made up the numbers at the World Championship, but most of them are now able to compete and win games. On October 28, the EADC Qualifier for the PDC World Championship was held in Moscow. Boris Koltsov managed to put the tournament to his name for the third time and is therefore allowed to go to London again. Darts Actueel talked to the Russian before the World Championship.

On November 28, the first ever Indian World Championship Qualifier was held in Pune. The winner qualified for the PDC World Championship 2019. Nitin Kumar won the tournament and becomes the second Indian to join the World Championship. Darts Actueel spoke with the Indian before the Worlds.
