Jaarlijks organiseert de wekelijkse Engelse dartpodcast Weekly Dartscast de Weekly Dartscasts Awards. Zondagmiddag werden de 19 prijzen uitgereikt. Lees hier meer.
Vanaf begin januari was het mogelijk om per categorie een week lang te nomineren. De nominaties met de meeste stemmen werden vervolgens toegevoegd aan de stemmingsronde, waar dartfans hun favoriet konden kiezen. Zondagmiddag werden de winnaars uitgereikt op het Twitteraccount van Weekly Dartscast.
De prijzen werden dit jaar gesponsord door Darts Tracker, Dartwolf, Mastercaller, iDarts, Be Math Aware, The Raffle Brothers, Dartistik én Darts Actueel.
Michael Smith heeft drie prijzen gewonnen bij de Weekly Dartscast Awards; Player of the Year, Match of the Year en Performance of The Year. Josh Rock won twee prijzen bij zijn debuutjaar als PDC-tourkaarthouder. De Noord-Ier won de Young Player of the Year en Newcomer of the Year.
